SOCPA Committee for investigation on violations of CPAs' Regulations provisions held its first meeting for the eighth session, written off one public accountant and suspended another
SOCPA Committee for investigation on violations of CPAs' Regulations provisions held its first meeting for the eighth session on Tuesday, 12.10.1436 H corresponding to 07.28.2015. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Tarek Abdullah Al-naeem, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry undersecretary for domestic trade, with Dr. Tawfik Abdel Mohsen Alkhayal, SOCPA board member and Mr. Ibrahim bin Saud al-Tamimi, legal adviser at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry as members. The committee studied the issues covered by the agenda and issued the following decisions:
- Re-appointment of the Legal Adviser , Adel Ibrahim Omer, as Secretary of the Committee.
- wrote-off one public accountant and forwarded the decision to the Board of Grievances for ruling.
- Suspending another public accountant from practicing the profession for six months .
