SOCPA members elected their representatives in the Board of Directors
Headed by the Minister of Commerce and Industry , Chairman of SOCPA Board of directors Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, SOCPA held, the day before yesterday, its general assembly at the headquarters of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, using live transmission for voting to select from the list of candidates, in an electronic electoral process, its representatives in the Board of Directors for the eighth session (remote voting ).
The result of the vote has been adopted after the announcement by the chair of the electoral committee names of members who received the most votes, they are: Saad Bin Saleh Al-Sabti, PCA; Khalid bin Ahmed Mahdher, PCA; Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Fawzan, PCA; Abdulaziz bin Saud al-Shabibi, PCA; Walid Abdullah Tmirk, PCA; and Khalid bin Sultan Al-ruwais, PCA.
Upon the adoption of result the meeting ended and His Excellency the chairman of the Assembly thanked the audience for their attendance and participation. He also extended his thanks to the ex- members of the Board for their efforts and constructive contributions during their terms of office, and that of those who preceded them, which all together resulted , after Fadlallah Almighty, in promoting the accounting and auditing profession until it has reached advanced levels locally and internationally. He also hoped that mutual interaction remains stretched with all current and former members, where we wish to always listen to their views because their expertise and experience is indispensable to us.
It is worth mentioning that the electoral process has been conducted under the supervision of a committee that was formed by a decision of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, chaired by the advisor Khalaf Mohsen Aldubayan and membership of Mr. Khalid Al Wahaibi, Mr. Ahmed Alshanqeeti , Mr. Yasser Alsalman and Mr. Mohamed Al-Tuwaijri. The Committee began its work three months before the date of the Assembly meeting, where it adopted the voters list, which included all SOCPA full member , and after that opened nominations for membership of the Board, and then commencement of voting a week before the Assembly meeting.
