The Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) signed an agreement with an international company, "Dataflow company ", specialized in verification of academic and professional certificates, in order to verify the authenticity of any document submitted to SOCPA, in an attempt to restrict the use of forged certificates and to ensure the credibility of submitted documents and information, for the purpose of verifying the credential of academic and professional certificates submitted by applicants to SOCPA membership and SOCPA fellowship certificate.
The agreement was signed by SOCPA Secretary General, Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-meghames, on behalf of SOCPA and Mr. Douglas Nairne Chief Executive Officer and board member, on behalf of Dataflow.
This agreement will be in force effective of Sunday, 15.02.2015, which will require applicants to address the company directly for verification of certificates and pay the required fees on registering, (only for the first time), through an electronic link that will be created for this purpose. The outcome of verification will be reported to SOCPA, and necessary action will be taken against those who submit fake certificates.
