In the margins of the Saudi Accountants Forum, the authority signed a number of agreements

SOCPA and the Education and Training Evaluation Commission have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the ties between the two highly respected organizations and to establish a framework for cooperation between the two bodies to identify and adopt ways to coordinate tasks between them. This memorandum establishes closer cooperation in several professional areas, including conducting research and consulting on educational outcomes, and participating in the evaluation of Bachelor's programs in accounting in Saudi universities.
The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al-maghames, Secretary General of SOCPA, and His Excellency Dr. Hossam bin Abdulwahab Zaman, President of Education and Training Evaluation Commission. The agreement was signed during the event of the Saudi accountants Forum in Riyadh.
The forum also included the signing of memoranda of understanding with eight universities, including Northern Borders University, Mustaqbal University, Tabuk University, Bisha university, Jazan University, Umm Al-Qura University, Al-Baha University and Najran University, which aims to develop the educational process and provide a comprehensive educational and training environment that keeps pace with the latest educational developments and serve the community.
At the international level, the authority signed with the Association of Accountants and Auditors in the United Arab Emirates, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India, which aims to establish a joint cooperation relationship between them in the field of accounting and auditing profession. This memorandum establishes closer cooperation in several professional fields, including conducting technical research, establishing Joint professional events, participation in advising other professional bodies.
On this occasion, Dr. Ahmed Al-mughames expressed his hope that the efforts made by SOCPA through cooperation with other international professional bodies will be successful, which consists in developing a number of important initiatives and exchanging experiences and experiments for the benefit of the profession and its employees in the Kingdom and throughout the region. He stressed the need to establish strong professional relations with the prestigious international accounting entities, which will allow each party to benefit from the other party's strengths. he looks forward to reconciling the visions of both parties in order to exchange experiences in support of the development of the accounting and auditing profession in the kingdom.
