Introducing the “Professional Readiness” Certification in Partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund
The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) has announced the launch of the “Professional Readiness” Certificate, supported by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), as part of its professional certification programs.
Through this initiative, SOCPA aims to equip accountants with advanced practical skills and provide realistic simulations of accounting work environments covering various accounting operations. The program focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, developing communication and presentation skills, and offering training on job interviews, all of which enhance graduates’ readiness to enter the labor market with confidence and competence.
The certificate covers 11 practical modules addressing key accounting processes, including preparation of trial balances and adjustments, financial statements, tax declarations, and interaction with key government platforms such as Etimad, Mudad, and GOSI.
At the end of the program, participants take a comprehensive assessment designed to measure their mastery of practical skills and applied knowledge through diverse question formats that accurately evaluate learning outcomes, ensuring participants’ readiness and confidence to join the workforce effectively.
The “Professional Readiness” Certificate opens employment opportunities in more than 20 specialized accounting roles, including Cost Accountant, Tax Accounts Specialist, Financial Controller, Senior Financial Auditor, Internal Auditor, External Auditor, and Budget Specialist, among other key roles in the financial and accounting sectors.
