SOCPA Signs Partnership with Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture to Enhance Financial Performance
SOCPA has signed a cooperation partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture. The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister, Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti. The agreement was signed by SOCPA’s CEO, Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Meghames, and the Deputy Minister for Shared Services, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Zubaidi.
The partnership aims to collaborate in training and education and foster community partnerships in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
It also includes exchanging expertise and knowledge in developing the accounting and auditing skills of the Ministry's staff. This will be achieved through specialized training courses in accounting and auditing and organizing related conferences and forums to enhance financial performance and create an ideal financial working environment. Additionally, the partnership seeks to benefit from specialized professional expertise to contribute to the national economy and society.
It is noteworthy that SOCPA is responsible for overseeing the accounting and auditing profession in the Kingdom. SOCPA works to encourage and support the practice of these professions to provide high-quality professional services. This helps increase trust and transparency in financial statements and protects investors and users of these financial statements.
