Exemption for SOCPA Fellows from Some EAAA Exams

Given the international recognition that the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) has received, the Emirates Association for Accountants & Auditors (EAAA) has announced an exemption for SOCPA fellows from several qualifying exams for EAAA fellowship. This exemption is based on EAAA's acceptance of the SOCPA fellowship as one of the recognized professional certifications.
The exempted exams include two out of three tests: the Accounting Standards test and the Auditing Standards test. Applicants seeking EAAA fellowship will still need to pass the Legislation and Taxes test.
Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Meghames, the CEO of SOCPA, expressed his satisfaction, stating, "These decisions are the result of the success and good reputation that the SOCPA fellowship has achieved in the accounting and financial sector, reflecting the progress of the accounting and auditing profession in the Kingdom." He also expressed his happiness about the high level of recognition the SOCPA fellowship has received both locally and internationally.
These developments result from SOCPA's efforts to build cooperative relationships with international professional bodies. Such collaborations aim to strengthen the accounting and auditing profession in the Kingdom and enhance the credibility of the SOCPA fellowship locally and internationally.
