SOCPA to Translate International Sustainability Standards

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) signed an agreement with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation this December to translate the International Sustainability Standards issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
This initiative comes in response to the IFRS Foundation's request, affirming Saudi Arabia's leadership in the accounting and auditing profession in the Arab world. SOCPA has demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing transparency and social and environmental responsibility in the professional work of accountants and auditors in the Kingdom. This agreement also continues SOCPA’s collaboration with the IFRS Foundation and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) in translating international standards with the highest quality.
Under this agreement, high-quality Arabic translations of the standards will be made available, thereby improving communication and understanding of their content within the Saudi and Arab accounting community.
