To Enhance Cooperation and Enrich the Scientific Content of Accounting and Auditing, a Memorandum of Understanding was Signed with the General Secretariat of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees
Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the General Secretariat of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees today, Tuesday March 21, 2023. This was an effort to enhance cooperation and experience and capabilities exchange in a way that serves the field of zakat, tax and customs disputes, and enriches the scientific, academic, training and knowledge content of the accounting and auditing profession.
The signing took place at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees, in the presence of the CEO of SOCPA, Dr. Ahmed Al Maghames, and the Secretary General of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees, Mr. Abdullah Al Suhaibani.
This partnership comes within the framework of joint work and cooperation between the two sides in exchanging expertise and information and providing consultations in common fields in order to develop the principle of complementary work between the two parties and to provide scientific support in professional seminars and training and professional programs. Furthermore, the signing of this MoU is as an attempt to stimulate community partnership that reflects positively on raising efficiency in the field of zakat and customs tax disputes and the accounting and auditing profession.
