The Activities of the International Conference on Accountancy Education Start with Four Panel Sessions
The activities and sessions of the first day of the International Conference on Accountancy Education, organized by Saudi Organization for Professional and Chartered Accountants, commenced in Riyadh, under the patronage of His Excellency, the Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Organization, Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi. The conference addresses, through its sessions throughout the day, a number of research papers for a number of specialists, researchers, professionals and experts in the accounting profession.
The sessions of the first day include four panel sessions in which sixteen speakers, professors, academics, and specialists participate, to present and discuss a number of different topics on the role of organizations in enhancing the outputs of accounting education. The discussions include reviewing the future vision of the accounting market, and the development of accounting education in accordance with changes in accounting education, work environments, and presenting the aspirations and challenges of artificial intelligence in the accounting sector, through a set of working papers that deal with various related topics.
On the other hand, the conference included workshops presented by a number of specialists in several fields aiming at developing skills, consolidating relevant applied best practices, and achieving communication opportunities between stakeholders and specialists.
The conference included an interactive theater in which a group of professional meetings and dialogues were presented. In addition to an accompanying exhibition with participation of a number of government agencies, Saudi universities, and local and international professional bodies.
It is noteworthy that the conference is a link between academics, university students and specialists in accounting to discuss important topics and the latest trends in the profession, and exchange knowledge.
