In accordance with the agreement signed with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the Saudi Organization for Charted and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) periodically translates several IFAC publications into Arabic, including the Handbook of International Quality Control, Auditing, Review, Other Assurance, and Related Services, and International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants.
So as part of their work, SOCPA's translation department has discovered several drafting errors in the latest English version of the Handbook of International Quality Control, Auditing, Review, Other Assurance, and Related Services and reported them to IFAC for correction.
IFAC thanked SOCPA for its supportive efforts in raising the quality of the Federation's outputs and confirmed its agreement with SOCPA on the pointed-out errors. These errors were found in ISQC 1, ISA 260, ISA 315, ISAE 3402, and ISAE 3410, Assurance Engagements.
