The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) has announced that "Etikal" Platform for accounting services is now available. It links both the service requester and the service provider including accounting and auditing firms and chartered accountants. "Etikal" was launched, in cooperation with the technical partner Thiqah in March 2022, on the sidelines of the Global Entrepreneurship Conference.
SOCPA has stated that "Etikal" provides various online services that allow small and medium-sized enterprises to contract with chartered accountants certified by SOCPA, in addition to auditing services, which serve as a contractual channel between the enterprises and registered audit firms.
SOCPA has also clarified that the platform creates an online accounting environment to help business growth for beneficiaries. This growth would increase the opportunities to employ Saudi accountants in the private sector, and to raise the regulation level of the accounting services market as a whole.
All beneficiaries are encouraged to visit "Etikal" website and learn more about the services it provides via etikal.sa. They only need to follow the instructions of the accounting service request starting from creating an account, choosing a service and an accountant then electronically contract with the accountant.
