SOCPA held an online workshop via Zoom for the Professional Performance Quality Control Program For Those Licensed to Provide Zakat and Tax Services on Thursday 9-6-2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with over 86 attendees.
The workshop dealt with several topics of interest to those licensed to provide zakat and tax services, such as an introduction to annual data and its review, the stages of entering annual data, and the duties of those licensed to provide zakat and taxes, and included a practical application in the annual data program.
This workshop is part of SOCPA's efforts toward digitizing its services to achieve the highest levels of quality performance and improve work. It also comes as part of the Professional Performance Quality Control Program For Those Licensed to Provide Zakat and Tax Services in an effort to automate review procedures and facilitate the process of providing data and information to ensure compliance with professional standards, professional ethics, licensing rules, and regulations.
After that, SOCPA inaugurated its Electronic Data Upload service, which allows those licensed to provide zakat and tax services to annually supply SOCPA with the required data and information in an electronic form to achieve ease and accuracy of the information entered. It is worth mentioning that several upcoming workshops will be held and will be announced according to their dates.
