SOCPA, in cooperation with the Saudi Central Bank, has begun the fifth phase of the project to qualify accounting firms to participate in the audits of financial statements of financial institutions.
The project consists of 8 phases and is implemented with the participation of international professional bodies. The workshops will be held at SOCPAs headquarters and will last for 35 days. There will also be other intensive workshops that will be held for a period of six months at the headquarters of the firms participating in the project.
The project aims to develop the capabilities of these firms so that they can participate in the audits of the financial statements of financial institutions.
The project is in line with SOCPA's goal of empowering practitioners of the profession of accounting and auditing, developing human resources, and creating an accounting environment that contributes to the development of the national economy.
