SOCPA and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation have signed an MoU with the aim of cooperating in developing new training programs in accounting and qualifying accountants and auditors. The MoU was signed by SOCPA's CEO Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Meghames and the Vice Governor for Training at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Dr. Abdullah bin Mastor Al-Marzoq.
This MoU will pave the way for cooperation between the two parties to develop the accounting programs in the training facilities belonging to the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and make them in line with job market requirements. It will also help align its accounting curriculum with international financial reporting standards.
On this occasion, Dr. Al-marzoq stated that this is an important partnership that will enhance the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation's educational outputs and further develop the profession of accounting. He also stressed the importance of preparing and implementing training programs and professional certificate programs for accountants and auditors.
For his part, Dr. Al-Meghames expressed SOCPA's keenness to help the accounting and auditing profession by building partnerships with the educational and vocational sectors in the kingdom. Dr. Al-Meghames also stressed the importance of scientific research and utilizing available data to develop the accounting and auditing profession further.
This partnership exemplifies the two parties' interest in joint cooperation to ultimately benefit the accounting and auditing profession in the Kingdom.
