SOCPA inks a joint cooperation agreement with King Faisal University
SOCPA has recently signed a joint cooperation agreement with King Faisal University (KFU) represented by its College of Business Administration. The agreement lays the foundations for closer cooperation in several professional fields, including: conducting research and consultations related to the educational outcomes of The Bachelor's programs for accounting major, and providing a comprehensive educational and training environment that keeps up with the latest educational developments in the field.
The agreement was signed on SOCPA's behalf by SOCPA CEO Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Meghames, and representing KFU was its rector H.E. Dr. Mohammad Al-Ohali.
The agreement will cover cooperation in various academic and professional fields that lead to the development of the accounting and review profession as well as the level of knowledge and professionalism of SOCPA's staff. The two parties will also work under this agreement to develop the accountancy programs in KFU and make them more aligned with the market's and SOCPA's requirements. In addition to that, they will also work on developing accountancy curricula and make it more compatible with the international financial reporting standards and ISAs approved standards in the Kingdom.
