The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) and THIQAH Business Services, have signed today (3 June 2021) a partnership agreement to develop and implement modern smart solutions catering for the accounting sector.
Representing SOCPA in the signing ceremony was the Secretary General of SOCPA Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Meghames, while THIQAH was represented by its CEO of strategic partnerships Mr. Bader bin Abdullah al-Omari.
In a statement regarding the importance of this partnership, the Secretary General of SOCPA Dr. Al-Meghames said that this agreement includes joint projects between the SOCPA and THIQAH. These projects will be in the field of smart business solutions, adding that the agreement will play a great role in supporting the work of SOCPA and serving its beneficiaries in an easy and accessible way. Dr. Al-Meghames also emphasized that SOCPA's objective is to pioneer, develop, and oversee the accounting and auditing profession and to raise awareness of its rules and ethics to ultimately serve the national economy and Saudi society.
For his part, the CEO of strategic partnerships at THIQAH, Mr. Badr al Omari, expressed his pleasure in signing the agreement and cooperating with SOCPA to develop its e-services and provide smart solutions that will help it provide its services to its beneficiaries using creative technologies.
