Memorandum of Understanding between SOCPA and the Saudi Contractors Authority

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants and the Saudi Contractors Authority signed a cooperation agreement last Sunday to lay down a framework for cooperation between the two bodies for the sake of exchanging experiences, knowledge, and information, and cooperation in the fields of training and development.
 
The agreement was signed by the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants, Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Maghamis, while the Saudi Contractors Authority was represented by the Secretary-General, Eng. Thabet bin Mubarak Al Sweid.
 
The agreement aims to prepare and provide training programs and professional certificates for workers in the contracting sector, and to provide the opportunity to participate in providing technical and administrative advisory services to the beneficiaries of the advisory services platform.  In addition to activating cooperation in many initiatives that serve the contracting sector and its workers and contribute to addressing the challenges facing the contracting sector such as (commercial concealment, localization, raising the efficiency of human capabilities, business quality, and other challenges).
 
Al Maghamis expressed his hope that the efforts made by SOCPA through cooperation with the Saudi Contractors Authority will be crowned with success, stressing the need to establish strong professional relationships with government agencies, allowing each party to benefit from what the other party has, looking forward to harmonizing the visions of the two parties in order to exchange experiences.
