1942 Accountants Apply for SCOPA's fellowship Exam Including 795 Female Accountants
SOCPA's fellowship exam for the second cycle of 2020 began today in cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Tabuk, Al-Ahsa, Abha, Al-Kharj and Al-Majmah, with a total of 1942 applicants, including 795 female applicants. The test aims to examine the applicants' knowledge and the application thereof, in addition to examining the extent of awareness of professional responsibility and behavioral traits an accountant should demonstrate.
The number of applicants for the fellowship exam increased significantly, reflecting its significance among accounting and auditing professionals. This also reflects a growing importance of towards professional qualification. SOCPA was keen to electronically provide the fellowship exam in a number of regions of the Kingdom through Qiyas testing centers so as to assist applicants to obtain the fellowship certificate.
SOCPA's began to hold the fellowship exam since 1994, where more than 10,000 applicants have applied for the test since the beginning of the contract, and 1046 accounts have successfully obtained the fellowship.
