SOCPA Resumes its Professional Exams with the Application of Precautionary Measures

SOCPA announced resumption of its professional exams starting from 3 July 2020, calling on those wishing to register to view test schedules and registration dates on its website.
The Assistant Secretary-General for membership and Professional Development Musab Al Juaid stated that SOCPA has completed its preparations to resume all professional exams that were previously suspended due to the Covid-19, which include: SOCPA fellowship exam, accounting technician exam, the VAT Specialist exam, the international financial report standards certificate.
 Regarding precautionary measures, he stated that measures will be taken in accordance with the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health to ensure the safety of applicants and achieve social distancing. He added that the number of applicants for professional tests is increasing significantly, which indicates the interest in professional certificates issued by SOCPA among accounting and auditing professionals, it also reflects a growing interest in obtaining professional qualification, as it represents and added value for those who obtain such qualification. It is noteworthy that SOCPA was keen to implement the fellowship exam electronically through the computerized testing centers of Qiyas in (Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Al-Ahsa, Dammam, Buraidah, Al-Kharj, Al-Majmah, Abha, Tabuk) so as to enable individuals who wish to obtain a fellowship certificate.
