SOCPA presented a lecture on "treasury management"
Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) presented on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Riyadh a lecture on the role of treasury management in providing financial solutions for companies. At the beginning, Dr. Mohammed Al-aqeel, SOCPA Assistant Secretary-General gave a speech in which he welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their participation, indicating that the presentation of this lecture comes within the efforts continuously made by SOCPA for the promotion of the accounting and auditing profession and all matters that may enhance its status, and in consideration to its role in raising the community awareness and cultural level and in maintaining the public interest.
Subsequently, Mr. Mohamed Hassan Abu Yassin, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Treasury's customers at Riyadh Bank presented the lecture, where he touched on the importance of the role played by the Treasury in helping companies to seize opportunities that became available as a result of the economic growth,
and in providing alternative solutions to protect those companies from the risk of price fluctuations. He also highlighted the key issues facing treasury managers and experts working in the financial sector of companies.
Many interested persons attended and interacted with the lecturer. At the end of the lecture, Dr. Al-aqeel presented a memorial shield to the lecturer and thanked him on behalf of the audience for the constructive ideas and visions provided during the lecture.
