Dr Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-meghames, SOCPA Secretary General signed a consultation contract for preparation of the accounting institute strategy
SOCPA signed a contract with the consultant, Knowledge Pioneers for Training Company, to prepare the accounting institute strategy, including each of the proposed activities, the operation and implementation plan of the project, preparing the organizational structure, and the organizational manual covering departments, sections and committees. Dr Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-meghames, SOCPA Secretary General and Board member of the accounting institute signed the contract on behalf of SOCPA and Mr. Obaida bin Jawdat Shorrab, CEO of Knowledge Pioneers for Training Company signed the contract on behalf of Knowledge Pioneers for Training Company.
Dr. Al-meghames stated that, the establishment of an institute for training came within SOCPA plans to develop and enhance the accounting and auditing profession, wishing for the Institute to meet the interests of all trainees and to provide an opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with the knowledge and skills necessary for the practice of accounting and auditing profession and to introduce theoretical and practical aspects of professional standards and opinions related to the topics of professional courses.
It is worth mentioning that SOCPA Board has formed the Institute board of directors by its resolution No. 8/2/2 taken at its second meeting for the eighth session dated 07.01.1437 H corresponding to 20.10.2015 G. The Board of the Institute has assumed its responsibilities and authorized SOCPA Secretary General to sign the contract. Preparation of the Institute's strategy, operation plan, and organizational structure is expected to take six months from the date of signing the contract.
