Represented in its Business Sector Committee, SOCPA, upon receiving IFAC acceptance, has translated IFAC publication titled " Evaluating and Improving Internal Control in Organizations " into Arabic language. Internal control is a crucial aspect of an organization’s governance system and ability to manage risk, and is fundamental to supporting the achievement of an organization’s objectives and creating, enhancing, and protecting stakeholder value. This release provides guidance for good international practices to support all enterprises - no matter their size or structure, to continuously increase and improve the effectiveness of their internal control systems. This translation comes within SOCPA efforts to bring to its members best practices at the international level in the field of the accounting and auditing profession, and related areas. SOCPA hopes that this version represents a useful reference for all enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular, and in the Arab world in general, in order to achieve further enhancement to the level of professional performance and deep-rooting the standards and practices of such performance .
